Key Services in IT:

The IT teams at ISPL provides IT support to thirteen countries in Asia namely Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia,India, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, multiple European countries (France, UK, Switzerland, etc) and also the US.

BNPPISPL's Application Development Services include the development of new applications, features, extensions, enhancements, support, interfaces, and upgrades for existing and emerging business operations. Through a combined on-site/offshore approach, we provide BNPP with the framework for application development outsourcing plus the assurance that solutions meet business'es specifications and are delivered on time. We offer comprehensive value-added 'independent' testing services to multiple business areas (i.e. Fixed Income, Equities & Derivatives, ALM-Treasury) through our offshore testing teams and domain experts.

We provide Functional & Regression testing using both manual & automated test practices.

Application testing team helps projects during function & regression testing by leveraging QTP. Automation Tool integrates with Quality Center for better test control & management. To mitigate the risks involved in maintaining the battery of test scripts and ensuring its successful implementation, team works on the defined 'Keyword Driven Framework' that separates data from the business functions. Currently within Fixed Income business, projects gain from our automation framework that supports reusability & maintenance of the test scripts created.

Our testing tool expertise and a robust automation framework significantly reduces the testing cycle time. Re-usability of scripts and extending tool capability by smart scripting are some of the key attributes of this approach. Test automation services are designed to derive the maximum benefit from your testing tool investment.

Every application built within BNPPISPL is for the use of BNP Paribas business users worldwide. The builders of the applications and users of the application are part of the same global team. Supporting the applications while they are in use is key to providing a complete business service. Application support provides the service integration between the application builders and the application users. Two types of application support services are offered:

    System application support: Requires business systems experts with good analysis skills to ensure the smooth running of the applications.

    User application support: Requires good communication skills and a functional understanding so that the application can be supported while directly interacting with the business users.

Overall, Application support requires multi-disciplined skilled staff having functional understanding of the business area and a technical understanding of how the application works.

Key Services in Operations:

Launched in April 2007, Finance Operations Platform (FOP) at BNP Paribas India Solution Private Ltd (ISPL) is a global captive finance operations service provider, catering to the needs BNP Paribas CIB group (predominantly).

FOP offers wide range of services to 20 countries across Asia, Europe and US in the area of Finance Operations related processes like Accounts Payable, Nostro Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Accounts Receivables, Financial Reporting, General Ledger entries, Analytics.

Activities handled by the Trade Finance Operation team:

    Delivering a consistent operation centre with a proper articulation of optimized end-to-end processes and organization.

     Two specialist teams help deliver BNP Paribas commitments to the hybrid organization

1.The Centre of Excellence team will enhance the Back Office functional frame and Trade Finance expertise. They are envisaged to get the overall vision of region specific processes, core processes and systems features in order to counsel the Partner's teams about any Trade transaction type.

2. Risks & Performance team - While some resources are dedicated to the follow up of pre-transition alignment related tasks and transition activities, other resources are controlling the RUN phase service levels and monitoring countries service specifications delivery. The team would need to monitor fulfillment of service commitments for all client countries.

Capital Markets Operations(CM Ops) provides operational support to various metiers globally within CIB such as :

     Capital Markets Transversal Operations

* Client Referential - Core Reference Data System(CRDS) Administration, Downstream systems reconciliations, Client Central Referential, Help Desk & Co-ordination

* Client Services - Notification, Bloomberg Page creation, Audit Requests, Reports, Factsheet and Valuations

     Global Equities & Commodities Derivatives Operations

     Asset Liability Management Operations and - Managed Services

* Access Rights Reconciliations - Reconciliation, Recertification and Revalidation
