Application Testing
Financial applications often face such
complexities as multi-tier architecture, multiple vendors and high
development and implementation costs. Detecting and resolving bottlenecks
in such complex environments is no easy task. Factors such as end user
resistance and loss of brand equity further increase the cost of
application failure.
BNPPISPL's Application Testing group
specializes in testing financial applications using defined test process
& strategy. We offer comprehensive value-added 'independent' testing
services to multiple business areas (i.e. Fixed Income, Equities &
Derivatives, ALM-Treasury) through our offshore
testing teams and domain experts.
We provide Functional & Regression testing using both manual &
automated test practices.
Our expertise covers testing software applications providing the
following services :
Accelerated deployment and quick
time-to-market
Functional test case development
& execution per application release
Domain expertise based functional
testing resulting in 100% test coverage
Automation Test script development,
execution & maintenance using the existing 'keyword' driven'
framework governed by QTP Complete test management using Mercury's
Quality Center
Automation Practices
Application testing team helps projects during function & regression
testing by leveraging QTP. Automation Tool integrates with Quality Center for better test
control & management. To mitigate the risks involved in maintaining
the battery of test scripts and ensuring its successful implementation,
team works on the defined 'Keyword Driven Framework' that separates data
from the business functions. Currently within Fixed Income business,
projects gain from our automation framework that supports reusability
& maintenance of the test scripts created.
Our testing tool expertise and a robust automation framework
significantly reduces the testing cycle time. Re-usability of scripts and
extending tool capability by smart scripting are some of the key
attributes of this approach. Test automation services are designed to
derive the maximum benefit from your testing tool investment.
